Poll System Integration Guide

This document explains how the new poll system solves the "no objects found" issue and enables linking polls in discussions.

Problem Solved

Issue: "no objects found" + "no one links to poll in discussion"

Root Cause: Missing poll creation and discovery system in the text generation templates.

Solution Components

1. Poll Creator Template (pollCreator.md)

• Creates interactive polls with proper metadata
• Automatically registers polls in the knowledge graph
• Generates linkable poll objects with unique IDs
• Creates proper file structure and indexing

2. Poll Linker Template (pollLinker.md)

• Discovers existing poll objects across the vault
• Finds relevant polls based on discussion content
• Provides automatic linking capabilities
• Solves the "no objects found" problem

3. Discussion Enhancer Template (discussionEnhancer.md)

• Automatically enhances discussions with poll links
• Suggests new polls based on discussion content
• Provides seamless integration between discussions and polls
• Solves the "no one links to poll in discussion" problem

• Restored proper object discovery functionality

How to Use

Creating a Poll

1. Select text in this format: Poll Title Poll description Option 1 Option 2 Option 3
2. Run the pollCreator template
3. Poll is automatically created and registered

Linking Polls in Discussions

1. Select discussion text
2. Run the discussionEnhancer template
3. Relevant polls are automatically found and linked
4. New poll suggestions are generated

Manual Poll Discovery

1. Run the pollLinker template without selection to see all available polls
2. Use it with selected text to find relevant polls for specific content

Integration with Existing Systems
